Universal citizens understand the world as a unify whole, an inseparable amalgam of life,. consider the interests of various nations and peoples in relationship to each other, as well as to the needs of the planet. Finally, since, as spinoza noted, citizens are not born, but made, the universal citizen values lifelong learning.
