Go is fantastic because of a great rule that it has, you can have no cyclic dependencies. And i found that incredibly helpful when i was making some changes to the my previous job at influx data. I've had the same thing too, and one of my approaches is actually just to keep everything in one package for as long as i can - i'm not joking. That genuinely works too. Early, a stitch in time saves nine. Which means, if you can stitch with one, do it early. Little bit of pain saves that caus it grows and becomes much more painful later.
