Advanced Nuclear Reactors - What Are the Pitfalls?

Nuclear reactors built in the 1970s are known as light water reactors because they use what's essentially regular everyday water as the moderator for the nuclear chain reaction. There are some newer and better designs known as heavy water reactors, molten salt cooled reactors and liquid fuel molten salt reactors.
