The Scythians - The Great Step Corridor
The Scythians were an ancient eastern Iranian equestrian nomadic people. They came off the there's this sort of huge step-land that runs more or less from Hungary to Manchuria to China and in the western part so from here to Kazakhstan to the Altaian Mountains. We don't even know what they called themselves because they certainly didn't call themselves Xiong Nú because it means in Chinese sons of slaves or something like that. The story we get from historians is one of the Chinese built the Great Wall to keep the shong do out and the Romans tried to build a similar wall for their empire.
