How to Make Act Two Convenient
Act two is the long stretch of 60 pages, especially in a feature. If you have a strong mid point in the middle of act two, where something happens that turns the story in the new direction, or your character makes a decision out of their fear, that s turn the story to help you kind of lead into everything falling apart for them. I find the want is part of that too. And we the audience don't also want it. They are just kind of wandering around. But an observing verses every saying they're going for their want and getting a push backda, creates more electricity and more momentumand that's great.
