Biccoin is open source, right? It does adopt changes, albeit slowly. I wouldn't worry so much about the small changes. The key thing that very often bit coiners recognizes, an asset of bit coin is that they're not trying to make it do more than tan be the world's best money. That's like a deep insight of the bid coiners. Don't go chasing the things that you think are going to improve it cause they always make it worse. If there was something truly market proven, bitcoin does retain the ability to absorb that feature.
