Mixed age groups create almost like a natural zone-approxable development for individuals. That stigma can be getting away with through education. If you educate the boys, if this is why you're playing down, then they understand it. And so it shouldn't really be seen as a stigma. It's about education. Lionel Messi played up and down all the way through his challenges and stuff. Jesse Linger played down two age groups. Alex Oxley-Jamberlain could do the same thing at Southampton. We would like our players to play down. In fact, we're actually losing some of our best players because they’re not allowed to play down due to social stigma
