The Psychology of Stockholm Syndrome

Stockholm syndrome is usually in a very intense but quite short-lived situation. It's basically a very odd and extreme reaction to a traumatic event where you perceive anything that's ordinary, fairly objective behavior as being exceptionally kind and generous. What's going on with his since with his victims, I think is much more to do with like dependency and long term abuse and grooming.
