The Illusionary Truth Effect
People have a truth bias in the sense that we generally assume that most things are true because thinking about our regular environments most people are not constantly lying to us. This is all compounded by the illusory truth effect or the idea that the more often you repeat something the more likely people are to believe it or think that it's true regardless of their prior knowledge on the subject. People are struggling with this idea sometimes that we tend to browse the world ever have to critically think about every piece of information that's very exhausting and so we just think that most thing are true.
