Pants - The Layer Between You and the Underlying Python Tools

Pants is essentially the layer between either you as a developer working on your laptop or your CI environment and the underlying tools of which there are so many. Pants, I think, supports well over 20 Python tools. And it's fairly easy to add more. pants also runs everything in these Hermetic Sandboxes, which means they are neither consume nor create side effects. All of this work can be cached at a very fine grain level.
