Forking the Language? What Are the Trade-Offs?
Jane Street has a few house people and lots of resources. Why doesn't Jane Street just fork? I think you did a good job of explaining the downsides of that. But it's super tempting to want to do some of that experimentation. And it feels like a place like Jane Street feels like in some sense a safer place to do it.
