This chapter explores the misunderstood roots of Halloween, challenging the notion that it stems from pagan traditions linked to Samhain. Instead, it presents Halloween as a Christian celebration associated with All Hallows' Eve, while also addressing contemporary neo-pagan appropriations of the holiday.
