When i was young, i loved watching the t v show survivor. I thought it was amazing television. The most interesting aspect of survivor wasn't the locations or the challenges but the alliance system. Having allies was a necessity for survival. But while alliances were necessary for one survival, their destruction was necessary for one's victory. As the allies became a bigger and bigger proportion of the remaining tribe, having voted everyone else off, people began to form new alliances. After all, the original pact may have had six people in it, but only one could win. Thus the alli system was only ever temporary.
