Is PCI a Fundamental Measure?

I do not necessarily need to fight to self-integrate information itself. But I worry that here the distinction between the real fundamental kind and the PCI type, you say they are similar. You can also say IIT is similar to global workspace. Is it more useful to try to flesh out the different versions of it and see which of them might survive some of the criticisms? Some may be counterintuitive or some may be intuitive. We select the appropriate measures of integrated information from this argument.
