The US Airstrikes Hit Targets in Syria
Pentagon says strikes targeted facilities used by groups affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, likely referring to the Shia militias that operate in Syria. Both Iran and Syria issued statements accusing the US of lying about who they targeted. On Friday night, three US bases, two of them that occupy oil fields came under rocket and drone attack.
