The Birth of the Gospels

Analusia on utub: There is evidence that the gospel of matthew was written in hebrew. But i don't think the arguments are very convincing, because  the author of Matthew was jewish. Lots of the stuff in the gospels is quotations from jesus and other people in first century palestine. So merely showing that there's an aramaic background, or hebrew background of this doesn't show that there was a written version of the gospel ofMatthew in that language.
