What's Going on at the Census?
The census case had legs. Legs that went far beyond the court's disposition of the case from the Southern District of New York. After the court declared the Commerce Department's initial attempt to add the citizenship question in valid, the Commerce Department informed the plaintiffs that they had in fact begun printing the census without a citizenship question. Then the president did a tweet declaring that all of the reports of the citizenship questions demise were greatly exaggerated.
