Is There a Difference Between China and Japan?

We all contain probably, I don't know, seven, 12 identities. Those identities can be activated when certain things happen in the world or tell us to support certain political candidates for whatever reason. This is the problem that all of these grand historical narrative attempts have in common, right? They're just trying to split these probably real, but still complex overlapping people and things into like clean and distinct categories.
