Over the past month alone, Russian cruise missiles and Iranian-made Shahid 136 Lloyd Ring munitions have killed some 2 dozen people in Ukraine. On November 15, Russia unleashed another barrage of cruise missiles against targets across Ukraine. The good news for Ukraine is that its air defenses are getting better at knocking down these missiles and Kamikaze drones.
An issue ignored for three decades came to dominate the summit’s agenda: reparations to poor countries for climate-driven “loss and damage”. Alas, halting those coming losses did not feature much.
