Is the Warring Side of Modernity or the Political Side?

The split between politics and morality in early modern times was largely affected by warfare. Later on, you got the split of politics and economics which is related to trade. The warring side of modernity is perhaps more far off ending than the trading side. But it would be reasonable to suggest that if one were to end first, it would probably be capitalism.
