You Don't Need Cysts on Your Ovarians to Have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome?
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome was first described in 1935. It affects roughly one in 10 women that I'm aware of, and I can only assume it affects one in 10 A-fat people as well. You don't need cysts on your ovaries to have polycystic ovarian syndrome. There isn't one consistent sort of set of diagnostic criteria for it; there are at least three.
