The History of PayPal
David Sachs noticed that there was 54 sellers on eBay who had hand typed into their listings. PayPal executive team said, oh my God, why are these people using PayPal and we should get rid of them? So he created an automated way to insert the logo as opposed to not immediately do it in the listing. These sellers have lots of listings. And then therefore, it started in dust in productizing when was not even a labor for the sellers. It became both the market or the company of some, as well as the guiding light for the product strategy for two years.
