Francoism: A History of the Spanish Civil War

At the end of the civil war Franco had accumulated a fortune of $400 million. He launches an aggressive propaganda campaign, so sweeping that it will take historians decades to piece together the true story of his time in office. Through pamphlets, newspapers and even school textbooks, Franco is comprehensively rewriting his own history. Perhaps the strangest and most ambitious relic of Francoist propaganda is a film called Larassa, or Race. This film offers fascinating insights into his insecurities and vanities.
