The Importance of Confirmation Bias

We put ourselves in these areas where everyone seems to agree with us, and therefore anyone who doesn't is seen as the others. It also goes a bit hand in hand with normal bias. If i have come to a conclusion, whether it's subconsciously or consciously, that the future is going to be the same as the past, then nothing that you say is going to convince me otherwise. Instead, i'm going to reaffirm my own beliefs by engaging in content that tells me i am right.
