The Government Whips Office Threatening to Abuse Members of Parliament
In recent days, a number of members of parliament have faced pressures and intimidation from members of the government. It is not their function to breach the ministerial code in threatening to withdraw investments which are funded from the public purse. I worked in parliament in two thousand and eight when gordon brown's government was trying to put through forty two days detention. And it was grotesque. In the arac war, one labor politician was told that some one close to them would be sacked if they didn't vote for thearack war.
