Titanic's Maiden Voyage
On April 2nd, 1912, Tommy bids farewell to his two boys. A week later, on the 10th of April, Titanic is finally ready to begin her maiden voyage across the Atlantic. Later that evening, standing on the shores of Belfast Loch, the two boys watch as the majestic ship disappears into the distance. They're still holding their lucky pennies, and when they finally go back inside, they realise how hard they've been gripping them. The year 1912, embossed on the surface of the coins, is now imprinted on the palms of their hands as well.
