CNN reports excitedly about a new study which finds that transgender and non-binary patients have no regrets about top surgery. John Sutter: If you want your lie to be accepted as gospel, then the best way to tell it is through a study. He says this uncritical willingness to believe studies almost always without reading them means any alleged researcher with an agenda can rig his research to say whatever he wants it to say assured that nobody will notice or call him on it. The results are overwhelmingly positive compared to other medical and non-medical decisions, as the study said.
