The Sun's Libel Bill Is Still a Success
The Sun has succeeded in what they tried to do, which is to damage the BBC. There are clearly texts and so on that will be subject of an inquiry at the BBC. In terms of libel, I would say to the people listening, did you or does anybody you know think that this person had engaged in illegal activity with a child? And if the answer to that is yes, then the case for libel exists. But funnily enough, this is not the BBC, so I can use the word shitfight.
