The Importance of Motivation

Steve Jobs made two points that really stuck with me. When he designed the heart, no, did this drive? He said, sit down and think, how should this be done? Don't look at how other people have done it. Just think about how you should do it. That really makes you think about, well, all this user research we're doing, is it always good? Is there stuff we should be thinking about first before we do the user research? I think even though we talked about earlier today as well, we're design patterns, and the reuse of various design patterns."
