RMSC vs Linear Regression Models - Are They Comparable?
The accuracy, let's say we're using RMSC, the difference between training and your holdout accuracy is how much you're overfitting. For any tree-based model, you don't have a continuous response across the entire space. Linear models are completely different. They are 100% continuous response curve because it's a functional equation that's generating.
