Why Twitter Matters

In principle, it's automatic right I mean you do it in a way such that they are just still following you and they don't particularly notice a big difference. So kind of do like a forwarding message so your your old account is still alive but it tells people to follow you at your new one. And then if for any reason you decide you want to leave. You can take your followers with you. It's not obvious to me why that matters right I mean what you're doing is treating the whole universe as what Twitter was and finding the people anywhere that want to follow you and vice versa. Is there ever a case where you're just kind of immersed in your community whether or not
