The Archimedes Screw
An Archimedes screw is a fascinating invention that, you know, supposedly came a lot later than this time when Nebuchadnezzar II was ruling Babylon. But it's fairly simple in construction. When you think about it, it is a large screw looking, usually wooden or metal thing that turns and as it turns, it takes water from a water source slowly,.
