Evangelicals Are Declining as a Share of the Population
Evangelical protestants are declining as a share of the population. The pool from which they're drawn is shrinking, but it's not because fewer people identify as born again or evangelical christians. A lot of scholars point to politics as one of the key factors in understanding these religious trends.
