The Teal Independence Movement and the Challenges It Faces
Kathy McGowan's run has inspired a change process that's really taken the nation by storm. I'm sure there's both inspiring and also challenging to see something that was so deeply local scale but it happened in India, she says. The teal independence movement is taking over of Australian politics with candidates from all walks of life standing up for what they think should be done. It just shows that we shouldn't take any things for granted like two party parliaments or multi-party governments which are common throughout Europe and other democracies. We've seen that as the parties have gravitated to more similar ground and in others that they've changed or abandoned their their base over time.
