The Impact of Anti-Missionary Activities on Modern Chinese Politics

Judah is like a really interesting character. He's kind of like the forest gump of this era of Chinese politics, at least in the sense that he seems to be everywhere. As a child, he basically learns about this missionary activity that really as a teenager kind of incenses him. And so he ends up participating, even though he starts on the side of the Qing, joins the secret society, and then ultimately joins the rebellion against the Qing.
