Should I Change My Cricothyrootomy?

The protocol in this hospital is that our team performs the first trache change. And we do it at about five to seven days. After that, assuming it's not an up sizing, then respiratory therapy can do it. Personally, my personal feeling on this is that if somebody is experienced and somebody knows how to get themselves out of trouble, they are capable of doing a trachechange.
