Is There a Faster Way to Get Around the Solar System?

There are very real reasons why we want faster ways to move around the solar system. And one is to intercept asteroids. Two years in advance is the equivalent ike a massive nuclear thrust five minutes before it hits the earth. It's much easier to deflect these things if you catch them early. If somebody did make a spaceship that was powered by direct fusion and plasma, plasma thrustter, would you buy it? I would happily do it if anything i did ever had any practical benefits. But you know, that's all truea a ha, ha ha.
