Sloth and Spiritual Motivation
Sloth is when the soul regards God his divine good and says it's just too lofty. I'm exhausted thinking at the prospect of how you know great are the promises of God so rather than do that I'll settle for the scraps that fall from the table. The thing that ultimately motivates us is God yeah his cries yep the grace that he pours into our hearts in the sacramental dispensation. You can't get there by your own this isn't your work this is God's work this is his initiative this is his desire which means he's going to accomplish it.
