Plasma 6: A Look at the Future
A lot of bugs in Plasma were linked to the panels or the widgets that you embedded in them. And I'm pretty sure that a malfunctioning widget could take down your whole panel at some point. So yeah, having something that works better in that regard is always, well, better for everybody. Now, if you want to follow the development of Plasma 6, they have a new wiki page that shows all the current issues that they're working on.
