The Role of the CVE Expert in Countering Violent Extremism

The idea of countering violent extremism is that your and the role of this project, ostensibly, was to put out counter narratives. So they're sort of trying to say, well, Osama bin Laden invokes Palestine, or has invoked Palestine in his rhetoric, and so we're kind of working against that. But it's always very kind of fuzzy, and it's alwaysvery kind of non-specific. The fact that these documents are kind of muddling together these very different groups, very opposed groups, is really a kind of pro-Israel narrative.
