How to Improve Your Sepsis Care in Small Hospitals
Many times sepsis occurs in rural or very small hospital settings. Key stakeholders who even touch the patient anywhere, my mantra is if you touch the patient during sepsis resuscitation in any way, you need to have a seat at the table. For example, emergency care is where most of our sepsis takes place. Having your rapid response team, if you have one in your organization, having those people at the table to handle inpatient sepsis emergencies is really important.
