Is Doping a Bad Thing?
I'm always fascinated to know whether there are people at the, I mean, you'll probably get a sense of this from the people that you spoke to. Is there a sense amongst professional athletes that unless you're doping, you can't be competitive? Or is it on the other side, athletes believe that they feel very aggrieved when they feel like they have to take drugs and do it just because they wanted to be competitive? "It's not always about performance. Vanity comes into it as well," says Dr. Khadid Kalan who heads up the South African Institute for Drug Resport.
