Only 17% of people say the system is very good or somewhat good for Australia at a whole. It's seen as working better for people who already own their home, but even then it's only 43%. If you're a mortgage owner, you're bearing an unreasonable burden in terms of the fight against inflation. And if you're a renter, you're being hit with the double whammy of rising rental prices and a higher barrier to get into the market. The problem feels so big and so large that it's really hard even to know where to start.
