I think so much of the attention that comes to my work happens after the portrait of baracco bama in the united states. Many people started to pay attention to the ways in which i looked at tradition, but really broke with it and tried to re imagine presidential portraiture. Hopefully this work will contribute to the broader appreciation of what it feels like to be a young londoner in the 20 first century. I really pride myself on the ability to go across the world to try to tell stories that are bigger than i that represent all of us.
