What's the Point of the Bricker Amendment Controversy?

Right wing and libertarian groups are concerned about the very things that concern us to day. The bricker amendment controversy foreshadowed what we're experiencing to day, didn't it? It's primarily our own supreme court we have to be worried about. Right now the information we have about all this is fairly limited. But what we know about the way these people have been acting...it's not encouraging.
