Science and Creativity in the Sciences

Creativity in the sciences is really akin to creativity in the arts, as we like to say. And that's not to take away from the rigour of science. We don't have a scientific method for how it is that you come up with new ideas. Because many times the most exciting thing about science is exactly what was the hypothesis? What was that big idea?
