The Future of Display Technology
The displays are one problem because we just got enough displays to use standard pancake lenses. To have like a good solid-state rare focal where no moving parts are in the headset, you need even way brighter displays that don't drain a lot of battery. Liquid crystals itself just eat up a ton of light. So it goes back to the fact that you need a super bright display at the beginning and then you can start adding these features. If I was an app or where these people will top billions of dollars of throw as the next big thing, I totally agree with this viewer. We'll see it for five years, probably.
