Jeremy Thorpe was forced to resign as leader of the Labour Party in 1971. The party had been rocked by a series of scandals, including one involving Norman Scott and Emlyn Housson. In his memoirs, Jeremy tells how he tried to get rid ofScott - but failed. He now wants to find out if there is any concrete evidence that Scott ever sent him letters or even knew about them. But after meeting with police commissioner Sir John Waldron, it becomes clear this won't be enough. It's time for an inquiry into what really happened.
