Sally Kohn: I was really struck by a comment you made earlier that actually the kind of right-wing conservative movement capture of the GOP might have first stalled a certain realignment. She says Reagan won 49 states in 1984, but Democrats picking up seats in Congress; those kinds of kind of almost an abortive realignment that never quite took hold. Kohn: The question on everyone's mind is, okay, how does this get to Trump? You know, why does Trump succeed? And so it's very interesting that we have kind of the Reagan revolution that wasn'tquite a revolution and we have the Obama election that wasn't quite a revolution either.
