What Kind of Person Do I Want to Be?
I thought about it a lot in reading Russ Roberts's recent book, which is really a wonderful book. And ultimately, the question that you ask yourself there is who am I becoming? What is this turning me into? That argues for being very careful about habituation. It argues for being kind of excessively earnest in how you think about how you behave. But ultimately, because you want to be a particular kind of person.
